Georgesville Road Animal Hospital is a family-owned, non-corporate small animal practice that has proudly served the Columbus community for nearly 50 years. We’re seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our supportive, team-oriented environment.

This role is ideal for both new graduates and experienced veterinarians who value mentorship, collaboration, and practicing high-quality medicine with a healthy work-life balance.

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our veterinarians in providing high-quality care. Your duties will include conducting diagnostic tests (laboratory, radiographs and others), assisting in surgeries and performing anesthesia monitoring, administering medications, vaccines and prescribed treatments along with educating clients on pet care.

Qualifications:

 Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVVT,RVT)

 Strong technical skills and knowledge of veterinary practices.

 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

 Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT (PART TIME)

Georgesville Road Animal Hospital is looking for a part-time Veterinary Assistant to join our close-knit team.

What You’ll Do:
 

This is a hands-on, flexible role where no two days are the same. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care, handling, and restraint
  • Supporting diagnostic procedures, including lab work and radiology
  • Preparing and dispensing medications with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
  • Providing excellent client service at the front desk—answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining records
  • Educating pet owners on wellness, preventive care, and treatment plans

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. Your role includes greeting clients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls and responding to resulting inquires, maintaining records and process payments and handling administrative tasks. You’ll also assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our clients and their pets.

Qualifications:

    •    Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    •    Ability to multitask and manage a busy front desk.

    •    Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

    •    Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or customer service is a plus.

    •    Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling software.
